LifeNet Health To Expand in Va Beach
According to published reports, the City of Virginia Beach is in negotiations with LifeNet Health to sell the company public land for the expansion of their operations.
Founded in 1982, LifeNet Health, Inc., is a leading biomedical alloengineering organization and organ and tissue donation agency that employs approximately 500 at its Virginia Beach headquarters. LifeNet Health distributes more than 200,000 biomedical implants each year to patients around the world.
According to the Virginia Pilot, City officials are negotiating a million-dollar deal to sell six acres of land to LifeNet Health, an anchor of the burgeoning medical village along Princess Anne Road.
