Apply for US Trade Mission to Turkey

The U.S. Department of Commerce is coordinating a Medical
Technologies Trade Mission to Turkey, May 4th -8th, 2014. The
application period is now open for this Executive-Led trade mission and
applications are being accepted with the final application deadline
being December 16, 2013.
Turkey enjoys a rapidly expanding
healthcare market. The mission is designed for U.S. companies who wish
to market themselves in Turkey, either by opening an office in Turkey or
working through a distributor. At the end of the mission, participants
will have gained market exposure and have been introduced to potential
business partners, end-users, and industry contacts who will be key to
building their business in Turkey.
There is potential for advanced medical technologies, especially for:
- Advanced pre-screening, imaging and diagnostics devices
- Advanced point-of-care devices
- Advanced surgical devices using robotics technology
- Remote patient monitoring devices
- Cancer treatment devices
chemistry and laboratory devices and tests like molecular tests,
genetics tests, hormone tests, chromotography tests and DNA tests
- Implants used in orthopedics and trauma
- E-health and M-health systems
- Telemedicine systems
trade mission will include pre-travel briefings and webinars,
one-on-one appointments with potential distributors, users, industry
contacts and government officials and technical site visits.
