SEBIO Seeks Company Applications for Venture Forum
Southeast BIO (SEBIO), to be held November 8-10, 2006 in Atlanta, is accepting early-stage and presenting company applications for its eighth annual SEBIO Investor Forum through July 7. The company application can be found online at www.sebio.org/investorforum/2006/companies.asp. The Investor Forum offers two opportunities for emerging life sciences companies to showcase their enterprises to the investment community. The SEBIO Early-Stage Event is an opportunity for life sciences companies seeking their first round of venture capital and/or angel investment to gain exposure to and receive mentoring from active early-stage investors.
SEBIO presenting companies have generally completed at least one round of institutional financing. These companies are considered to be among the best life sciences deals in the Southeast, as determined by a selection committee comprised of regional and national venture capitalists. Each presenting company makes a ten-minute pitch to the full conference audience.
The target region of SEBIO includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia, but border state companies can apply. If you have questions about the application process, please contact Dave Poole at 770.997.2484, ext. 112.
