VaBIO Sponsors 10K Team for Research
The Virginia BioTechnology Research Park (VBRP) and the Virginia Biotechnology Association (VaBIO) are recruiting 150 individuals to run/walk the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K race against cancer, on Saturday, April 5, in Richmond, Virginia. With a fundraising goal of $100 per participant, the two bioscience groups hope to raise $15,000 for research. All those who participate on Team Biotech will have the opportunity to walk/run in honor of someone, whose name will be incorporated into the logo and memorialized on the back of the team t-shirts.

There are two short steps to signing up, which takes less than 5 minutes:
1) First, register to participate in the race with Richmond SportsBackers. Registration is $25 until February 1.
2) Second, go to the Massey Fundraising Challenge page and click on “Join the Challenge” at the top of the page and select “Join a Team,” which will be “Team Biotech.” Please note that contained within this short form, you will be asked to list your personal fundraising goal — to receive a T-shirt you must raise at least $100.
Run or Walk for Someone:
All those who participate on Team Biotech will have the opportunity to walk/run in honor of someone, whose name will be incorporated into the Park’s logo and memorialized on the back of the team t-shirts.
