Nick Culbertson leads Techstars AI Health Baltimore, helping AI-driven healthcare startups achieve rapid commercial traction through mentorship, capital, and network access. Prior to Techstars, he co-founded and scaled Protenus, an AI healthcare company recognized by Gartner, CB Insights, Forbes, and Modern Healthcare. Nick brings deep experience in building, scaling, and funding digital health companies, with a background in genetics, synthetic biology, and healthcare innovation.

Jason Brooke (Managing Member, Brooke & Associates)

M. Jason Brooke, MSE, JD, CSQE, is the Managing Member at Brooke & Associates, a digital health legal and regulatory advisory firm. With over 20 years of experience across biomedical engineering, FDA regulatory work, legal counsel, and executive leadership in medical device companies, Jason brings a rare, multidisciplinary perspective. His expertise spans product development, compliance, and commercialization, making him uniquely positioned to guide innovators navigating complex regulatory landscapes.

Dr. Shireen Khoury (MD & MPH, Johns Hopkins Digital Health Innovation Lab)

Dr. Shireen Khoury is a board-certified physician specializing in Vascular Medicine and Preventive Cardiology. She is currently a member of the Johns Hopkins Digital Health Innovation Lab, where her focus is on clinical trials to improve the implementation of cardiovascular care in high-risk populations. Dr. Khoury has a special interest in human-centered design methods; she partners with patients in the community to develop digital strategies for cardiovascular disease prevention and recovery. She has authored peer-reviewed research articles, book chapters, and patient education tools, and recently co-authored the American Heart Association (AHA) National Action Plan for peripheral artery disease.

Moderator: Fehmida Kapadia (CEO & Founder, Amplify MedTech)

Dr. Fehmida Kapadia is an expert in entrepreneurship, business strategy, and technology commercialization. As the Founder and President of Kapamed Consulting and Amplify MedTech, she has guided over 150 startups in their journey to success. Dr. Kapadia specializes in strategic partnerships, fundraising, and MedTech commercialization strategy.
