Hyatt Regency Reston, Presidents Street, Reston, VA, USA

Join the AFCEA for the TechNet Emergence Conference, set to take place March 11-12, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Virginia.

The Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association International (AFCEA) knows the pace of technology is ever-increasing, moving too fast for most people to keep up with one sector, let alone multiple areas of interest. Recent developments in artificial intelligence, quantum computing, biotech and other areas have broad and deep implications for government, industry and people’s personal lives. Nation-states, corporate interests and other groups view these emerging technologies as competitive advantages or means to be used in information warfare, cyber attacks or for other nefarious purposes. While there are myriad sources of information related to the development of technology, few authoritative sources of ground truth exist and decision-makers are often left wondering what is hype and what is actually possible in the near- and mid-term time horizons.

The AFCEA TechNet Conference will focus on:

Emerging Technologies
(1-3 years)

  • Supply chain
  • Data integrity
  • Cybersecurity of IoT
  • Quantum computing

Horizon Technologies
(3-8 years)

  • Biotechnology and the bioeconomy
  • The future of telecom
  • Artificial intelligence
  • Semiconductors and microelectronics

*The full agenda can be found on the AFCEA TechNet Emergence Conference website.

Who Should Attend:

Start-ups and early-stage companies will demonstrate their technologies. Organizations developing or researching capabilities within and between any of the 8 focus areas will therefore benefit by attending. Additionally, attendees can count on venture capital and program executives to be on hand to engage participants with critical updates. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect directly with key leaders representing all eight focus areas before, during and after keynotes and panel presentations. Be a part of charting a course for the future in terms of investments in and capabilities of cutting-edge technologies. Technology companies in either the commercial or government contracting space, academic institutions, or government agencies working in any of the 8 focus areas will gain a competitive advantage by showcasing their solutions at this event.
