Join us for our RBTC Lunch & Learn with Jennie Salamoun, “ROI by Design: The Payoff of Putting Users First”
This session is meant to give Roanoke community members the opportunity to learn about Design Thinking.
This workshop series is designed for leaders and teams who want to understand the powerful link between human-centered design and business success. We’ll show you how putting your users’ needs first isn’t just good practice—it’s a proven strategy for increasing ROI, fostering innovation, and creating more effective products and services. Through engaging examples and hands-on exercises, you’ll learn some of the core principles of design thinking and discover practical tools you can use to identify new opportunities in your own business.
Unlocking Opportunity through Design Thinking
In this session, we’ll demystify design thinking and human-centered design, explaining why these approaches are essential for today’s market. You’ll see real-world examples of how major companies have transformed their businesses by focusing on the customer experience. We’ll introduce you to key tools like empathy maps and customer journey maps, and guide you through creating these for your own business. You’ll leave with a challenge to facilitate human-centered design conversations within your business and the opportunity to schedule a 1-on-1 session with the presenters.
